1. Who is Carmichael?

Carmichael's started in 1903 as Carmichael Drugs - Dr. Carmichael was the original owner and pharmacist. The store was passed down through his family until 1972 when it was purchased by two young UGA pharmacy graduates, Kelly Farmer and Greg Hickman. After expanding the store to include home medical equipment and gifts, Greg Hickman became the sole owner in 2001. The name Carmichael's represents the long standing history of quality care and service in the Walton County Health Community.

Carmichael's offers something different and unique in this big box era of retail - Quality and Service. We've searched high and low to ensure we offer the very best in quality products for our customers at reasonable prices. Our Service starts from the moment you walk in the door where you're greeted by name and escorted to the area of your need. We'll meet you at midnight to make sure you have the medicine you need, our pharmacy offers one-on-one consultations so you understand and know what medicines you take and why. When shopping for a gift, every detail in covered - from finding the perfect item to wrapping it elegantly as a part of our service. Our Home Medical Equipment continues to offer the education and time not found at other companies. Clean, safe and functioning equipment is delivered on time, every time.

Carmichael's is open:

8AM - 8PM, Monday through Friday

9AM - 6PM, Saturday

1PM - 6PM, Sunday
