Thank You Notes

When ordering your wedding invitations, don't forget to include the corresponding thank you or folded notes. It's usually easier and less expensive (shipping costs) to include them in the same order. Plus, once the invitations are mailed the gifts will start to arrive - having the thank you notes come at the same time ensures you're prepared!

Thank You notes should be mailed promptly after receiving the gift. The 'wedding myth' of having a year to respond to a gift is inaccurate and less than thoughtful. Your guests have spent time and money purchasing a gift for you and a prompt response is required. This reassures the gift giver of receipt of the gift as well as making the task easier for the bride and groom - doing five or ten notes a day is much easier than 200 in one sitting. Plus, personalizing the note will be much easier with the just opened gift sitting in front of you.
